We bought our house here in Texas a little over a year ago, and since then have become great friends with our neighbors the Brummett's. They make the perfect friends for a few reasons. One we are all close in age...or at least act close in age (Jay), Two they also have little girls the same age as Sophia, and Three we all seem to have a blast whenever we're all together and its real convenient to have friends there right when you open your garage door!
As a stay at home mom, the best thing for me is watching how Sophia reacts to having best friends. How she has changed in the past year amazes me. Now that she has "girlfriends" she wakes up in the morning asking for them. Whenever the phone rings, she's right at my side asking "Mama, who is it?? Is it Steph?? Are Elandrie coming over???". Thats right, Elandrie. Their correct names are Ella and Landrie, but Sophia has merged them into one person since she loves them both equally.
Jay and Jake have also become great friends, sharing a love of killing things in the great outdoors and beer pong will bring you close to people :) But I am most thankful to have found such a great girlfriend in Steph. Its so nice to have someone to talk to and share a love of Christmas with! So this is a great big thank-you to the Brummetts for being great friends and neighbors! Love you guys!

Um ok, I don't know if I'm crying more over the fact that the girls looked like such little babies in all these pics or the fact that this is just about the sweetest thing ever written! You are too sweet and we love you guys and are equally as blessed to have met you! Hugs!
