Our new Honey has horrible timing. We've been trying to stay home for the past 2 weeks so we could be here when she started having the kittens, and of course as we are getting ready to go to Sophia's horse show...it begins. Sophia was sitting on the bed with Honey while i was getting dressed, and i noticed her leaking something. I put her in the closet that i have all set up...and kept getting ready. Sophia was in the closet with her when i heard a LOUD meow. Sophia opened the door, clearly scared...and i told her it was time for the babies to come, and it hurts honey :) I had Sophia stay out, but let her watch from the door. She cried a little bit, but once she understood what was going on, she was fine. There were 4 kittens by the time we had to leave. We went and did the horse show, while i was a little concerned as to how many cats would be in my closet when we got home. But when we got home, Honey was fine, she had done a great job and there were still only 4. One of them wouldn't eat anything, and i tried to nurse it, but it didn't make it. So now we have three healthy happy kittens to raise and hopefully we can find them all good homes! One is a grey tabby, one black and one calico. They are so cute!
