Since Grandma's friend Lisa was in town from New York, we decided to take her to the Fort Worth Rodeo for a true "Texas" experience. It was a lot of fun, especially since Sophia and I had never been to anything like it either. We went to dinner and headed over to the rodeo. Sophia is so spoiled that when Daddy went to the bathroom, she got a light up toy from Grandpa and then Daddy brought another one back for her! No shortage of toys in this house! I had a little "where the heck did we move to" moment when they asked all the kids to come down and then proceeded to chase a baby cow around to get a flag off it's back! They even did it with the little kids chasing a baby sheep! Crazy! I was a little afraid Sophia might not like the roping part of the rodeo, but she was too busy hopping from lap to lap and talking with everyone. Especially Lisa who has turned out to be her new best friend. Everyone had a blast, and Jake even shook his booty for a t shirt that he kindly gave to Lisa :)
