This year we were lucky enough to have my mom AND brother come visit and stay for Christmas! They are kinda crazy, or at least my mom is....because she drove straight through 18 hours to get here. They got here at 3 a.m. on the Tuesday before Christmas. I wish we had done more fun "christmassy" things with them, but Sophia got sick the day after they got here with a horrible cough (turned out to be pneumonia!!) and so we pretty much just hung out at the house and my mom got all her shopping done.

One night we had some friends over for a while. It was fun, till Sophia woke up with her terrible cough and couldn't go back to sleep...so i went into the bedroom to sleep with her, Gigi went to bed for the night and the boys decided to make it a fun night. Boys will be boys i guess..... Because when i got up in the morning this was where Colby had slept all night....

And finally I'd like to say that this poor dog that my mom brought got a beating. She was a good dog, never bit or barked, but she was definitely scared. maybe this will show why:
